THE FREEDOMLAND USA MEMORIAL PLAQUE WAS DEDICATED WITH A SPECIAL CEREMONY ON AUGUST 17, 2013
ON BARTOW AVENUE, NEAR THE BARTOW MALL
THE SITE IS NEAR WHERE THE POLES SPELLED OUT FREEDOMLAND, WHICH WAS THE FIRST THING VISITORS SAW.

Freedomland Amusement Park Panoramic
This set of five panoramas was constructed from 8 mm footage taken in May of 1963. A series of 51 "frame grabs" were stitched to form the pictures. These pans highlight the following park areas:
1. Little Old New York – (35.7" x 6") Includes Main Street and the R.H. Macy’s store
2. Old Chicago & The Great Plains – (35.7" x 6") Taken from the Ore Bucket ride, see the Harbor Tugboat ride, Astro Ride, Great Lakes Cruise, Go Kart Speedway, Fort Cavalry, Chuck Wagon Snack Bar and Borden’s farm and barn.
3. Fort Cavalry – (56" x 4.2") An area within the Great Plains, shows the insides of the fort, including the Cavalry Rifles, Chuck Wagon Snack Bar, entrance to the stage coach ride and "Digger O’Toole", the parks official undertaker.
4. San Francisco – (56" x 4.2") Taken from the steps of the San Francisco stop on the Santa' Fe railroad, it shows the ore bucket ride, the A&W root beer bar, the streets of San Francisco, the Earthquake ride, Chinatown and the Fur Trappers ride.
5. New Orleans – (39.9" x 6") Shows the King Rex Carrousel, Mirror Maze, Buccaneers and Spin-a-Top attractions.
All pans are on high quality, continuous sheet photo paper.
